Statement of Privilege

Acknowledgement of Unearned Privilege:

As a trauma-informed entrepreneur, Human-First© leader, and the facilitator of this space, I recognize the unearned privileges I hold as an individual and how they play a role in my work, client relationships, and my position as a business-owner.

I publicly acknowledge that I hold specific levels of unearned privilege as a white, straight-passing, able-bodied-passing woman, with access to financial capital—and that many of the folks I hold space for do not share these same unearned privileges and inequitable levels of access.

To embody my lifelong commitment as a trauma-informed entrepreneur, I engage in ongoing anti-racism work, trauma-informed education, and see the humanity in others by not bypassing their privilege, trauma, or lived experience and the impact these things hold in how they show up in the world.
